What happens if I lose my jewellery, make an insurance claim for it and then it's found using the service?

In the event of a payout on a claim for your lost jewellery, the serial number can be transferred to another party, ie, the insurance company.  They may or may not ask you to do that but if they do, the option is there and they would then be informed of the find as the rightful owners instead of you.
