This series of work has actually been hiding away for the best part of 10 years! Until now it hasn't seen the light of day and it wasn't until I recently re-acquainted myself with it that I realised its potential impact as a series of prints.

 

Originally conceived from a line of enquiry into 'hidden spaces' I set out to investigate the juxtaposition of natural and technological landscapes and territories, aesthetically as well as conceptually, using a mixed media approach including photography, drawing and tracing by hand, melted wax and scanning.
The lines blurred. Revealed and concealed. A symbiosis. Mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism. The possibilities and the limitations. The hope and the fear.
It feels as relevant now as it did a decade ago...perhaps even more so.

 

There are 8 Giclée prints in the series. 4 different images with a positive and a negative variant of each.
A strictly limited edition of only 75 of each in the A3 size.
Printed on beautiful quality 310gsm Canyon Baryta paper, each print is individually hand signed and numbered and packaged by me in an environmentally responsible way, but still ensuring that your artwork reaches you in perfect condition.
