My name is Jenny Hardman and I am the owner and founder of Immortal Imprints
Our story started back in 2012 when I lost my fingerprint jewellery bracelet on a trip to Rome. I was absolutely gutted and I wanted another one. I hadn't long had our daughter and I really did not want to return back to the day to day way of working life and so with lots of uncertainty, Immortal Imprints was born.
At first we made for family only and then friends and then through their friends and it is only through these the word started to spread. We are very happy to be able to say that we have grown Immortal Imprints organically. 90% of our clients come from referrals from very happy recipients :)
We truly are a family run business within the Lancashire area. Myself & My husband Peter were married in May 2016 so we are still newlyweds :) Between us we have an absolutly immense household. We have a total of 8 children. It is totally bonkers but we wouldnt have it any other way.
If you ever receive a leaflet with a sticker on it, that is the hand work of one of the children earning themselves some spending money.
All creation of jewellery is carried out by myself unless a specific design has been agreed with our studio in Longton, Preston.
When you are purchasing from us, you are not purchasing from a large corporate company lining the pockets of some big CEO, you are helping our children learn the importance of new skills and team work.
We are fully insured and are CRB checked for your safety. We are also accredited by KalliKids, recommended by parents.
All of our items are solid Fine Silver (99.9%) & Sterling Silver (92.5%) and can be hallmarked by the assay office if requested*

If you do not inform us within 7 days we will take no liability for the damaged or faulty goods. This does not affect your statutory rights. You will be responsible for your goods once delivery is made.
EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY
The customer acknowledges that it has been advised that the production process used by us for fingerprint items is inappropriate for children less than 16 weeks because it can bruise tiny fingers that still have low bone density. Children under 12 months of age also rarely produce a defined fingerprint although they do produce a ‘dimple’ therefore we recommend hand or foot prints until after 12 months of age. We cannot guarantee that any person of any age will produce a well defined fingerprint. This varies from person to person, regardless of age. The customer acknowledges that due to the purity of fine silver .999 jewellery is softer than .925 silver and therefore needs to be handled with special care. If worn every day the item may show signs of wear and tear and the detail may fade. This is more prevalent with charm bracelets, rings and keyring’s which are more prone to being knocked against hard surfaces.
YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS -
Refunds, Cancellations and Faulty items Personalised items
Due to the items being personalised and custom made to order, once payment (of part of) has been made you are agreeing to waive your right to cancel under the 14 day cooling off period as set out in the Distance Selling Regulations. Please note that this also covers payments where deposits have been made and impressions kits. Where an item is faulty or wrongly personalised such as wrong spelling (i.e. different from the initial request) we will only send out a replacement or repair, free of charge on receipt of the faulty item (the cost of which will be refunded by us). However, we often email pictures before we send out these items to reduce the chance of an error occurring. NB Please note that because our jewellery and keepsake items are made by hand there will be tiny imperfections such as scratches or words not lined up completely straight, however, this is not considered an error or incorrect personalisation but instead adds to the handmade nature of the work. Please also be aware that as every item is made by hand and especially with fingerprints, items received may vary slightly from pictures and may require some artistic licence on our part with placements of prints. We will not offer a refund or exchange on products if you have made a mistake on the order form.
Please ensure you fully check this before signing and placing your order. Non-Personalised items Under the Distance Selling Regulations and Consumer Credit Contracts effective 13th June 2014, you as the consumer enters into a contract with us as soon as payment is made and therefore can cancel your contract with us at any time between the date the payment was made up to 14 days after the Royal Mail tracking system says it has been received by the addressee. If you wish to cancel, you must use the form provided on our website (or has been sent to you on confirmation of your order) and attach it to an email (which we will acknowledge) using the address above and must be sent within the cancellation time frame above. The costs of sending the items back due to cancellation will be met by the consumer and a refund will be given in the same manner as it was received within 14 days of the item being received by us.
We do however reserve the right under the regulations to deduct an amount from the refund if the goods have been returned in a way that has diminished the value of the goods by handling them beyond that is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function. *We reserve the right to place words and prints where we believe it will suit the piece based on the size etc. of what is ordered.
