Using design elements informed by detailed observational drawings, flat sheets of metal and lengths of wire are transformed, using traditional techniques, into beautiful wearable art.
About me
I am an artist maker of fine jewellery. After many years of two-dimensional animal portraiture I chose to retrain in the three-dimensional discipline of jewellery (design) and making.
I use traditional techniques, precious metals and gemstones and I am always exploring and expanding my skills
I live in a rural village near York, and inspiration comes from my fascination for nature, for the textures, shapes and curves found all around.
About design
My jewellery is designed using elements from from my observational drawings, creating unique "one off" pieces.
I also enjoy collaborating with clients on commissions, transforming ideas from imagination - to sketchbook - to reality.
