Gold Scots Pine with Sapphires - 9K Yellow Gold

We wanted to do a slightly different 'Tree of Life' pendant.

The inspiration for this came from a Scots Pine that grows on a hillside we sometimes walk. These trees can live for up to 700 years, and every year, in the early days of summer, their pine cones crack open, unfurling seeds onto the breeze. The 1mm sapphires at the end of each branch on this 9K gold pendant represent that unfurling - that moment of new life bursting forth from the old.
