All contracts and/or agreements formed between you and Make a Statement Jewellery by means of using this website shall be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Making a Contract By placing an order with Make a Statement Jewellery you have read and agreed to these terms, including privacy and refund policies.
If the product you ordered cannot be supplied or there has been an error in the pricing, you will be contacted to rectify the situation, either with a full refund, or a different replacement product which could incur a part refund, or an extra payment as required.
We cannot accept orders from anyone under the age of 18.
Images and Description
Every effort is taken to accurately present the products in this online store, however as websites are viewed on different devices images can be distorted and colours may vary depending on your individual display settings. All sizes, weights and measurements are approximate and are taken at their widest points and included for guidance only. Please contact Make a Statement Jewellery if you have any queries before purchasing.
Due to the irregularities in gemstones and the handmade nature of the work there may be slight variations from that of the photograph.
Components
All jewellery and silverware on this site have been handmade by Hollie Umney at Make a Statement Jewellery in the UK. All items are sterling silver (925) or fine silver (999) unless otherwise stated in the product description. Some pieces may feature pre-made components, for example, clasps, earring backs and chains.
Hallmarking
In the UK, silver items being sold over 7.78 grams, and any gold items over 1 gram must be hallmarked by law. Make a Statement Jewellery pieces will be marked in accordance with this rule and where they fall below these weights they will not normally be sent for hallmarking. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in the precious metal market.

All bespoke and personalised items are non-refundable.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate size prior to production and a fee will be charged for resizing. Some pieces cannot be resized due to the methods used in their making, especially those including gemstones.
Complaints
The following terms and conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights. If goods do not reach you in good condition or are faulty, postage costs for the return to Make a Statement Jewellery will be refunded. Make a Statement Jewellery must be contacted within 14 calendar days of receipt to arrange return delivery. Make a Statement Jewellery will only credit you for the items that have been damaged or are faulty upon safe receipt of the goods into our hands.

Shipping
Make a Statement Jewellery is currently only offering delivery within the UK.
All orders with be shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Items will be despatched within 1-3 working days. If there is a delay for any reason, I will be contact you. You will receive confirmation by email once your jewellery has been dispatched.
Packaging
Your jewellery with come beautifully presented in a branded gift box. Each order also comes with a polishing cloth for future use. Your parcel with be posted in a secure postal box. Each element of my packaging is either recycled or recyclable.
Refunds and Returns
Hopefully you will be delighted with your purchase. Part of the beauty of handcrafted jewellery is that often you are able to see some of the marks left by the tools used to create them, and the gemstones can hold natural inclusions or flaws which add to their perfectly imperfect charm.
Every possible care will be taken to ensure that your jewellery arrives safely, but if there has been damage caused in transit please contact me at contact@makeastatementjewellery.co.uk straight away to discuss.
Requests for a refund must be made within 14 days of receiving the item, and once confirmed, the item must be returned in its original condition and original packaging within 30 days of receiving it. Please include proof of purchase. If the item is not returned in its original unworn condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The jewellery remails your responsibility until it reaches me, so I recommend that you send the parcel using a trackable service such as the Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured) service. I cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit. You will be notified once the item has been received and inspected, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
I will be unable to provide refunds or replacements where damage has been caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
Unfortunately, earrings cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for hygiene reasons. Custom orders or commissions (i.e. those made to a requested size not generally listed on the website or with personalisation) may not be eligible for refund or exchange
Exchanges are not accepted. However, if you would like a different item you can follow the returns process outlined above and, once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
To start a return, please email contact@makeastatementjewellery.co.uk stating your name, address, details of the product and the reason for the return. If your return is accepted, you will be sent instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
