MODERN STYLISH DESIGNS, WITH AN EDGE.
Handcrafted and 3D Printed Jewellery
Welcome to Elsiem Jewellery. My name is Lorraine Hitt and I'm the creator & designer of this stylish & modern independent jewellery brand, based in Cambridge, UK. To help us connect, here is little bit about my design background.
My former design career disciplines, including Graphic, 2D/3D CAD, Furniture & Architectural Interior, are not only prevalent in my designs but have provided me with invaluable skills for developing my jewellery brand, all inspired by my love of simple visual & architectural forms, incorporating functionality & practicality.
During more than 30 years experience within the Design industry, I have experimented with the design process, both recreationally and commercially. Around 2015, I took my love for all things simple, stylish and elegant and experimented with modern collections for the discerning jewellery lover.
I studied and self taught the art of metalsmithing to enable me to create hand crafted metal pieces and now also use that skill to incorporate metal into my latest design development of 3D Printing too. I have recently launched a very exciting range of modern designs made from a material called Selective Laser Sintering Nylon that is 3D Printed from my CAD designs.
The 3D prints are dyed with a fabric dye, I then adorn some of them with metal elements which gives an unusual combination of modern technology with traditional metalsmith skills. This has given a whole new dimension to my jewellery collections and I am always learning and evolving techniques and materials to keep my work fresh and innovative.
At Elsiem Jewellery I only use good quality materials and am conscious of allergies or skin reaction concerns, so my product listing will always detail the type of metal or material used for each individual piece.
My gift boxes are mostly :- 100% Recycled Box board & consist of 100% recycled materials- 100 % recycled non-tarnish filler- Paper wrap material is 100% recycled and Process Chlorine Free or:- 40% recycled boxboard-
Matt finishes are fully recyclable-
Laminated finishes are recyclable once outer paper removed-
Paper covering is made from sustainable forests.
My mesh gift bags can be re-used for several purposes - here are some ideas : -
Travel jewellery pouch, Phone holder, Travel Make-up pouch, Pouch for small handbag items, Washing machine bag for small items.
Enjoy!

You're buying from a dedicated master craftsman, not an automated warehouse.
Odissa is an exclusive sister platform of The Guild of Jewellery Designers. When you buy here, you aren't scrolling through imported mass listings. You are connecting straight to independent studio benches across the UK, securing lifetime heirlooms directly from the designers themselves.
Read our origin story →What's been quietly lost in the rush to scale.
Large online marketplaces have shifted toward mass-produced, generic, factory-line products, making it difficult to find unique, handmade items.
Relaxed verification standards on major platforms have led to issues with material integrity, such as fake silver, cheap base metals, and chipping platings.
A dedicated UK home for true British craftsmanship.
Odissa is a dedicated UK marketplace created by The Guild of Jewellery Designers to connect you directly with the hands that shape your story. Every piece is an intimate collaboration, featuring only verified, independent, small-scale designers who specialise in original, handcrafted work. Whether you are looking for a completely bespoke commission or a deeply personal, made-to-order treasure, Odissa champions the beauty of true British craftsmanship tailored uniquely to you.
Four promises we hold every maker to.
Sellers are members of professional bodies (like The Guild of Jewellery Designers or The British Pearl Association), ensuring authentic, high-quality precious metals and genuine gemstones.
Jewellery is shaped by hand rather than factory molds, resulting in unique pieces with individual character.
Customers buy directly from independent British workshops. They can communicate with designers or use the "Commission a Designer" feature for bespoke pieces.
Unlike giant platforms that take large corporate cuts, Odissa charges minimal fees, ensuring financial support goes directly to the independent makers keeping the heritage craft alive.
