Limezest Jewellery

I started making jewellery 10 years ago from my dining room table making beaded bracelets, necklaces and other simple items selling at local school and Christmas fetes.


Having saved any profit from these events,  I bought a basic set of jewellery tools and booked myself onto a silver ring jewellery workshop where I learned how to forge and solder silver.


I am however mostly self-taught through reading books, scouring Youtube and with lots of trial and error. These are the foundations I’ve used to produce the jewellery I make today.


I now have a large studio in my home dedicated to Limezest Jewellery which is furnished with many special tools (my Husband says I love my tools too much).


I have been given commissions to make some beautiful one-off pieces of jewellery over the years. It’s such a pleasure working with my clients to turn their ideas into a wearable piece of jewellery they will treasure for years to come.




My aim is to create you a piece of jewellery that is timeless, elegant and high quality. All of my jewellery is handmade to order to your own specifications.


Whether you are buying a simple stacking ring or a design full of gemstones and gold your experience of dealing with me will be friendly and approachable.

Thank you for visiting Limezest on Odissa Handmade (the ‘website’). These terms and conditions govern your use of the site and purchase of goods and services from the site. You will also find information on your privacy and your security on other pages of the site and these pages shall be incorporated into these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the site. By accessing the site and/or placing an order, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions and you consent to us using your information in accordance with our privacy policy.


All prices quoted on the website are retail, displayed in (£) Pounds Sterling, and exclude the cost of delivery.

Payment for all orders (including those placed from outside the UK) are made in (£) Pounds.

All goods remain the property of Limezest Jewellery until payment is received in full.

Although we try to ensure all our prices displayed on our website are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible.


All Limezest jewellery is made to order in my  workshop and delivery times may therefore vary. If you require a piece of jewellery by a particular date (e.g. a birthday or anniversary), or within 14 days of ordering, please get in touch as soon as possible after placing your order. Unless we agree by email to deliver goods by a special date, we cannot accept liability if the goods do not arrive within the delivery times stated below.

As everything is made to order, delivery times depend on the materials used and the delivery destination.

Please note that at periods of high demand, the usual 7-14 day delivery times referred may be extended to 21 days (see also ‘Christmas Orders’).

Orders can be sent using two options:

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured) – £6.95  *Recommended*

  • Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded (uninsured) – £2.95/£3.95 (depending on size)

If you are purchasing jewellery items from us, we strongly recommend that you have your items sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes a compensation service. Your jewellery items are NOT insured by Royal Mail if you have them sent by First Class Recorded Delivery (a signed for only service)

Please Note: 

LimeZest is NOT liable for the replacement or refund of any lost or damaged goods where proof of postage exists nor is LimeZest responsible for jewellery where the customer has chosen NOT to insure the package using the Royal Mail Special Delivery option which we recommend.


All of the below options are subject to the terms and conditions of the Royal Mail which can be found on www.royalmail.com

Royal Mail Special Delivery terms – Recommended

  • Compensation for loss or damage of your package up to £500

  • Guaranteed next day delivery before 1.00pm (excluding weekends)

  • Signature taken at destination

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery terms

  • A cheaper service but without compensation for loss or damage

  • Next working day delivery for most 1st Class Recorded items, although this is not guaranteed as per the information on the Royal Mail website.

  • Signature taken at destination


Please Note: Personalised, custom, handmade to order items are non returnable unless deemed faulty. 

For in stock unpersonalised  items if the jewellery is not to your liking, you may return it within 7 days of receipt, in the original packaging, for a full refund or exchange, but you will be responsible for return (insured) postage costs. Customers must contact LimeZest before returning an item by emailing lisa@limezest.net. and a postal address will be provided for returning the item.

In the unlikely event of a breakage due to workmanship, a full refund or exchange will be offered within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods. Otherwise the item will be repaired, free of charge, and returned within 14 days. Items damaged through misuse, neglect, accident, or by ‘normal’ wear and tear and made-to-order items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.

You are responsible for both the postage and the goods when returning items. LimeZest cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses incurred by Royal Mail service and therefore cannot refund any items that are not received or received damaged. It is therefore recommended that you send returns by Royal Mail Special Delivery (Insured) and in the original packaging.

In the case of losses or damage incurred by Royal Mail when returning items to us, it will the responsibility of the customer to make a claim to Royal Mail.
