Simply attach your 2 layering necklaces to this simple but ingenious double clasp necklace fastener and hey presto - they stay neatly separated and tangle free all day (or night) long!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• Slide the double clasp apart by gently pulling the ends away from one another.
• Attach the spring ring of your necklace to the side of the double clasp with no spring ring.
• Attach the other end of your necklace to the spring ring fitting on the double clasp.
• Repeat for both loops, with the shortest length necklace at the top and the longest at the bottom.
• Put the necklaces around your neck and slide the double clasp back together again.
• Hey presto - no more tangles!

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?

"Gold filled" (also called "rolled gold") is comprised of a layer of solid 14K gold which is permanently bonded to a base metal, usually brass. The layer of gold must be a minimum of 1/20th (or 5%) of the weight of the item. Gold fill is very hard wearing and will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate, under normal wear. It is therefore commonly used as an economical alternative to pure gold.
