I have been designing and making jewellery since 1999, specialising in quality handcrafted pieces, creating original innovative designs using silver, gold and semi-precious stones.
I have always been creative and loved drawing and making things. After completing a degree in Fine Art, I studied jewellery craft and design at evening classes. I took to jewellery making straight away and got a job in the workshop of a large jewellery manufacturer where I gained valuable technical experience. I began working on my own designs and soon had a collection ready to sell in jewellery shops and galleries.
I really enjoy the process of making. I like working on a small scale, using traditional techniques to create modern designs. Incorporating an element of movement in my work gives the pieces a tactile quality, making them interesting to wear and play with as well as aesthetically pleasing.
