I'm Susanna and I started taking an evening class in Silver Jewellery Craft and Design at Exeter College when I moved to Devon in Autumn 2015.
I've always enjoyed creative things including photography and I was interested in making Jewellery partly as I found it difficult to find Jewellery I liked in the shops and was curious to learn the techniques involved.
Since that first term of Jewellery making I have come to absolutely love it. I completed a few more terms of the Jewellery course at Exeter College and now have a workbench and tools and make Jewellery from home.
My designs are minimalist and contemporary. With a mind to our impact on the environment, I use natural materials in my work and particularly enjoy the techniques of texturizing silver and stone setting. I buy Eco Silver which is 100% recycled silver, wherever it is available. All items are packaged in simple recycled Kraft boxes.
