Alludio is a latin word which means playful, play. It sums up the creative motto for designer-maker Claudia Schmidek, the name behind the brand.
Having fun while freely exploring shapes, colours and materials. Inspired by everyday objects, historical artifacts, fashion or architecture, her collections give a nod to vintage yet are modern looking, unique yet wearable, playful yet elegant.
Her pieces are full of character and comprise mainly of sterling silver, gold, precious and semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, along with some alternative materials.
Brazilian born with Austrian/German heritage, Claudia has been living in the UK since 2005.
After graduating as an Architect and devoting a few years working in the field, she began training as a Jewellery designer/maker, before setting up her own workshop in London.
Due to her many cultural influences, she likes to experiment with new materials and shapes, exploring possibilities whilst pursuing an aesthetically pleasant and beautiful result.
She likes to create collections as well as one-off pieces and is very happy to undertake commissions.
All items are designed and made in London using recycled metals (silver, gold or palladium) and ethically sourced stones wherever possible.
Due to the hand-crafted nature of my products, made to order items usually take one to two weeks.
If you are buying as a present, please contact us before purchasing to confirm that it can be delivered in time. UK Post - Post within the UK via Special Delivery – this is insured, with tracking and promises overnight delivery.
Please note that the parcel will require a signature upon delivery. If you would prefer alternative postage/delivery methods (e.g. guaranteed Saturday delivery) then please do contact me. Parcels to the US - Using Airsure, 5 - 7 days delivery. It is an insured, postal service with parcel tracking facility.

We do exchange faulty items, but please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product.
Where possible, we do offer a repair service.
Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we do accept returns for items that are not made to order.
Due to hygiene reasons we can also not accept earrings. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item so we can arrange for the return. Buyer is responsible for postage costs.
Any shipping fees, duties or sales taxes or other import costs already paid by the customer for the original receipt of the goods will not be refunded and will remain the responsibility of the customer.
