These fabulous earrings are part of my Darley Abbey Acorns collection. Darley Abbey Park is close to The Derwent Valley Mills, World Heritage site, and is a constant source of inspiration for my collections. It was while walking my dog, Ted, one fresh autumn morning, that I noticed the profusion of acorn cups underneath a large Pedunculate Oak tree. One twig still had three cups attached, and I used this to create the 'master' for the Abbey collection.
