These fabulous stud earrings are part of my Darley Abbey Acorns collection. Darley Abbey Park is close to The Derwent Valley Mills, World Heritage site, and is a constant source of inspiration for my collections. It was while walking my dog, Ted, one fresh autumn morning, that I noticed the profusion of acorn cups underneath a large Pedunculate Oak tree. One twig still had three cups attached, and I used this to create the 'master' for the Abbey collection.They would complement either the acorn pendant or necklace. These acorn stud earrings have gold washed cups and measure approximately 1cm x1cm.
