The earthy tones in this agate sit beautifully with its sterling silver pendant setting, with accents of citrine bringing out the gorgeous colours. The creamy texture of the gemstone contrasts with the sparkle of the citrine and the shine of the silver. Like all our pieces, this pendant is designed and handmade in our workshop. The earthy tones in this agate sit beautifully with its sterling silver pendant setting, with accents of citrine bringing out the gorgeous colours. The creamy texture of the gemstone contrasts with the sparkle of the citrine and the shine of the silver. Like all our pieces, this pendant is designed and handmade in our workshop.
The pendant measures approx 50 by 30mm at its maximum dimensions, and is around 6mm deep. It is mounted on a 18 inch (45 cm) diamond cut belcher chain, and weighs approx 25g. This is a one off piece, with just one available.
Agate is a polycrystalline quartz (made up of tiny crystals of quartz), and comes in a huge variety of colours and patterns. It is not one of the officially recognised birthstones, but some people link it to the month of September. Citrine is also a form of quartz, but forms as a single crystal. It is one of the birthstones for November.
